I was mostly messing about but Lampard is a statistical monster; probably one of the best premiership players ever on that basis.

Absolutely. Lampard is pretty amazing all around, not just at racking up stats. He's getting constantly overlooked for some reason.

Arshavin is in rough patch of form right now, it would be silly to write the player off completely at this point...even it is way too similar to Bobby Pires' form the last year or so in an Arsenal uniform. Let's hope it is a patch and not the beginning of the end but he has been atrocious recently.

He's probably also feeling knackered having played every game for us in the PL/CL, and coming off 2 games in the international break.
