It's also actually a big plus that he speaks French, considering our entire back 5 (Song included) speak French as their first language. Will make communication (a huge problem area recently) a lot smoother, hopefully.

Hmm, I guess I assumed so, as he's Belgian. But now that I think more about it, I think he's from the Flemish (primarily Dutch-speaking) region of Antwerp, in Flanders.

our entire back 5 will not consist of Gallas next year, so that's 1 down.. TV can probably speak more than 1 language (or at least understand more than 1).. 2 down..

Yeah, I believe TV speaks Dutch fluently, and I'm sure English and French quite well too.

See him as a good shotstopper but very little command of his area. Also not a very good kicker. He is more Fabianski (but better) than Seaman or Jens.

Frey is off this summer, I'm fairly certain of it. Fiorentina need the money. It would be incredibly annoying if he went to United while we're getting Mark Schwarzer.

I agree. Frey would be a fantastic signing for us. The type of signings we need that can actually help get us back to winning things. Schwarzer is not anywhere near as good as him.
