Genoa have slapped a £5.5m price-tag on Arsenal target Sime Vrsaljko.

The Croatia right-back, who is currently representing his country at the World Cup, is in demand after a superb first season in Italy with Genoa.

Inter and Fiorentina have been impressed with the way he has adapted to Serie A football and are among the clubs considering a summer swoop.

He has also been touted for a switch to Arsenal as a replacement for Manchester City-bound Bacary Sagna, with Arsène Wenger believed to be a fan.

Sources in Italy claim Genoa are aware that they will face a battle to retain his services this summer and that they will seek a fee of at least £5.5m, which would provide a profit on the £3.2m they paid to sign him from Dinamo Zagreb last year.
