After returning home from last nights game, sitting in my living room, I decided to write this, as I could not believe what I saw during the game.
I took my seat in the yellow section, block 30, in the family enclosure. Yes I said family enclosure.
At the start of the match, Martin Jol was getting the usual abuse, but I noticed three men, roughly about 5 seats away from me, who were acting like animals. Two of the men, looked in there twenties, whilst the other was around fifty and there dad. When the match kicked off, they were going through the pack of beers, disguising the fact they were drinking alocohol, with programs. The two young men, also kept disappearing, to the toilets for a few minutes then returned. Personally I think that they were taking drugs.
There behaviour was very agressive, with constant standing on seats, raising arms in the air, and abusing anyone they could see. Junior gunners in the area, were getting very scared, after constant swearing and abusing the substitues, with abuse being shouted, such as" Mido is a shoe bomber", and also " You have no foreskin", in which a muslim man, in his late fifties, turned round and asked him if he could not shout that because he finds it offensive.
Half way into the second half, of extra time, a middle aged man, in front of the hooligans, turned round and asked one of the men to stop smoking, as they were constantly smoking, even after stewards were trying there best to keep them under control. The animal who was smoking, then shouted in the middle aged mans face, very very agressivly, saying " You love it dont you", in which the man shouted back in his face, " Yes I do", in a joking manor. The man then grabbed the middle aged man in front, and called him a ****, whilst his mate, grabbed the man in fronts throat and threw him forward. The stewards then stepped in and tried to grab, them and escort them to the police, in which there was a big scuffle, and an elderly steward nearly got hurt.
My point of writing this is, that when the club, has rules like no drinking, it is for a reason, as you cannot control your actions. In the area there were kids crying, and a few families left, after they were so scared. Have a think about it, and when the club, gives stewards, certain instructions to pass onto fans, it is for a serious reason!
