Watch Mike Bassett: England manager, then watch the series, Mike Bassett, Manager. You can get it for 5 quid and it is well worth it. In the series, after being fired by England, Newcastle, Norwich and Colchester, he begins to manage his hometown club who his dad was a legend for Wirral County in the Third division. He is obviously appaling at this too. Hilarious moments come when he gets into a fight with the opposition's mascot, and when his striker scores his first goal in 8 months. Genuinely funny comedy.
