How poor/embarrassing we have been the last 5 years especially, Atletico likely to be Champions League next year while we will have no European football, how many better teams there are than us now (not just Europe, but in England alone) and Arteta not having the pulling power that Arsène did even when we declined.
...under these current conditions, Thomas Partey will be the best signing we have ever made imo.

Just be happy if this happens, we’re absolute **** and a world class midfielder might be joining us. Who cares if he’ll miss a few games each year a player this good should not be within our reach.
Partey would bang at Utd tbf. A midfield of Partey, Pogba and Fernandes plus a striker who can actually score and they're firmly back in the top 4, regardless of what they do with the defence.
