What’s the worst individual performances that stick out in your mind? Almunia against West Brom in 10/11 always gets me:

This clip doesn’t even show the penalty he gave away

Can give you two for the price of one.

Armand Traore and Jenkinson at Old Trafford for the 8-2. Never seen anything so bad in my life.

Traore looked like he’d won a competition to play for Arsenal.

Mustafi v Crystal Palace is the first one that comes to mind. Worst thing about that performance was that he kept throwing his hands in the air and blame others for his amateur defending.

His Newcastle away game in 2018 was absolutely appalling as well.

Made so many clangers that Vidic gave a masterclass on how he should have defended in the studio at half time.

Giroud Monaco only because of the gravity of the situation and how winnable it was aside from his sabotage.

Traore against Utd was pretty bad.

One of the Eboue performances.

One of Song's earlier performances

Any of Bendtner's.

Eboue when he came on then got subbed off crying.

Bentdner pretty much eliminated us against Liverpool from the CL in 2007/08 with this.

Traore still the pinnacle for me. Genuinely seemed allergic to Ashley Young that game.

Jenkinson would of done himself, and us, a favour if he got sent off earlier.
That said, Djourou and Coq wasn't much better than the disasterclass by Jenks and Traore.

This Mustafi face expression always used to piss me off. Same with Giroud looking to the skies:

Other ones that haven’t been mentioned:

Chambers vs Montero has to be up there too. Guy ended him in that game. This picture sums it up:

Rúnarsson vs Man City. He looked like a striker that was playing in between the sticks.

Probably not the worst but Arteta vs BVB/Everton has to be in and around there. His legs were gone and Auba, Mkhitaryan etc were exposing that. Way off the level of every single other player on the pitch.

Can't believe nobody has mentioned the Arteta performance. Can't remember it exactly but he came on, conceded a penalty/own goal then got sent off/injured or something?

Funniest sub performance was Flamini against Barcelona in 2016.

We’re 1-0 down in the 82nd minute and holding our own. Make a change in midfield and see if we can take a draw to the Camp Nou.

On comes super Flam and not even 20 seconds later he just boots Luis Suarez in the box. Clear penalty and tie over.

Meltdown on here was something else.

There's been a lot recently as well. Luiz at City, Ceballos at Benfica, Mari against Chelsea.

Uncle Mikel vs Bayern, 2013
Came on and gave away stupid free kick after stupid free kick. Killed our momentum dead and single-handedly cost us one of the greatest ever European comebacks.

Olivier Giroud vs Monaco, 2015
The most profligate striking performance of his Arsenal career. Cost us the tie with his misses and ****ed up the easiest draw we had in years.

Manuel Almunia vs Barcelona, 2006
This clown of a man was beaten on his near post and in the most important game of our club’s history. He was a shaky mess when he came on and predictably couldn’t save a word document. Awful.

Thomas Vermaelen vs Man Utd, 2013
Horrendous display. Let Van Judas score against us too. He was like Bambi on ice, couldn’t stay on his feet and his clearances were garbage.

Emile Smith Rowe vs Newcastle, 2022

Absolutely diabolical and was rightfully hooked at half time. Had no impact on the game and looked a bag of nerves. Couldn’t even track back efficiently. Recent but makes the cut as it’s fresh in my mind.

Arsenal Quotes

No one could have imagined for a single second that he would come to us. Only David Dein, Sol, his agent, and I knew what was going on. When I called a press conference to announce the arrival of a new player, and Sol Campbell walked into the room full of journalists, it was a bombshell.
