Nedved was a grafter. Nowhere near the greats imo. Limited technically.
Not saying he wasn't a brilliant player but I wasn't in awe watching him.

Post your line up, let's see who you got at CB.

For my all time favourite players XI (perhaps a thread in itself)
--------------Enyeama
Maicon-Nesta-Koscielny-Maldini
-------------Xabi Alonso
--------Nedved-Davids
--------------Rosicky
----------Baros-A.Smith (Leeds one)
Ok, since we're switching to favourites rather than best, my line up is:
Lehmann
Zambrotta Stam Toure De Boer
Davids Seedorf
Ljunberg Bergkamp Overmars
Wanchope
Does look that way doesn't it? I'm not obviously, but that crop of Dutch players were just so enjoyable to watch. I happen to think Seedorf is one of the most under-rated players of all time. And seeing Davids biting at everyone right across the pitch always made me smile. Then combined with the class and technique of Berkamp etc, what a spectacle. You Dutch mate?
Davids could go from kicking at a player's heels like a regular Gattuso, to beating a man with a stepover and a sway of his hips, in such a fashion that, from behind, you might mistake him for Ronaldinho.Davids was a pretty well rounded player, more than just a "pitbull" type, which he was also.
Del Piero was one of my faves, he had a 'phenom' vibe about him when he was breaking through, you felt you were watching a new Baggio level talent, injuries kicked in not long after.
