Hardly a household name, but given the doubts over whether Diaby can come back and Frimpong not even good enough for the bench. Is this the Flamini back up that we can actually get.

West Brom should be easier to do business with than Newcastle for Cabaye or Juventus for Pogba and way cheaper too.

We need a first choice DM really, Arteta and Flamini are ageing and we need players who can improve that position that's still a weakness.

He's very underrated and definitely a good PL player, but he's certainly not good enough to play at Arsenal. Everton level would be his ceiling.

If we're going for a back-up I'd prefer someone younger, but a first choice DM is really what we need as ArsenesNO1Fan says. Or at least someone who can grow into the role of first choice DM in the next season.

If he's happy to be the complete bench player then why not. But we don't need him at all. I think it's just lazy journalism with a player getting picked out of the hat

No thanks, he isn't even West Brom's best midfielder.

True. On that team, I'd much prefer Claudio Yacob.
