Hector Bellerin’s 3 best moments in an Arsenal shirt

Bayern assist (Tuesday 20th October 2015)

Arsenal Hector Bellerin

After being knocked out of the Champions League by Bayern Munich in two of the last three seasons, even die hard Gooners were forgiven for a lack of optimism when Arsenal drew Pep Guadiola’s team in 2015.

This time it was in the group stages in a home fixture which saw Arsenal come out on top. Olivier Giroud opened the scoring on 77 minutes for Wenger’s team, but it was Hector Bellerin’s run for the second which made the headlines.

The Spainiard intercepted a loose ball by David Alaba in the middle of the Bayern half, coasted down the right wing passed Thiago and crossed to Ozil who despite Neuer’s best efforts, tucked it home. It was a great show of speed and vision from Bellerin who was still in his own half when the pass was made.
