Shkodran Mustafi looks set to leave Arsenal this month with the defender’s agent set to fly to Turkey for talks with Galatasaray, according to reports.

Mustafi has become a forgotten man at Arsenal this season.

The German who racked up 31 league games last campaign has appeared just three times in the Premier League in 2019/20.

It has been reported that a loan deal could be made, as well as a permanent transfer.

The north London outfit are expecting to make a loss on the 2014 World Cup winner, who they bought in the summer of 2016 for £35million.

Mikel Arteta has previously started that he wants to bring in a defender – but it could be two going out instead as Shkodran Mustafi and Konstantinos Mavropanos potentially set to leave as well.

Calum Chambers is out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.

If Mustafi and Mavropanos to depart the Emirates, Arteta will have just Rob Holding, David Luiz and Sokratis to rotate between.
