Arsenal are hopeful of bringing Adrien Rabiot to the Emirates following the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder being banned from training by the French giants.
Rabiot has not appeared for the Ligue 1 champions in 2019 after failing to sign a new contract with the club.
This latest disagreement stems from an Instagram video posted by Patrice Evra.
The clip shows Evra threatening to punch former teammate Jerome Rothen in a row over the former Manchester United star’s celebrations of his old team’s win over Paris Saint-Germain.
PSG were unhappy that Rabiot had given a “like” to Evra’s video, with Rothen since taking legal action against the former Old Trafford left-back.
Consequently Rabiot was handed a training ground suspension, preventing him from working with the squad for six days.
The midfielder is seen by many as a direct replacement for Aaron Ramsey who is set to join Juventus this summer.
