I'm sure the money part is agreed, I think he just wants the club to show some ambition with signings this window. Just Partey would probably be enough, with Willian & Gabriel, for him to sign. I know we are a self sustaining club but at times like this I do feel Kroenke could pay the £45m fee as a loan and take it back once we've sold players. This waiting game is too risky, the sooner we get Partey in the better.

the Kroenkes must surely see by now they have a gem in Arteta who must be backed - and you'd expect Mikel and Josh to get along - so I have hopes of something along those lines

Its the same with AMN, I just posted similar in that thread. We mustn't be forced to sell a very good young player to raise funds. He should be seen as an asset that is increasing in value so you keep him.
