UEFA Champions League 2009-10

A killer group like this is possible:

Any of the 8 teams from Pot 1
Any of these 4: Lyon, Inter, Real or Juve
Bordeaux
Wolfsburg

The French and German champions would be the "easy" teams. I hope we don't get stuck with a taxing group like that. Wouldn't mind ManU, Pool or Chelsea having to mix 6 of these games in with their league commitments though.

So 5 teams are through now, A.Madrid, Lyon, Zurich, Maccabi Haifa and Debrecen.

All of them comfortably winners over the others who proceed to europa league.

Holy ****, none of the games really interest me. Porto-Chelsea is alright on paper, but you know it'll be a complete bore in reality. Marseille-Milan could be OK, and CSKA Moscow-Wolfsburg could provide some entertainment. But yeah, all in all this is a piss poor day for champions league football.

OK, being the introverted sod that I am, I know nothing about teams outside of England.

What does everyone reckon the most exciting game tonight will be outside of the ManU and Chelsea games?

I hear that Inter vs Barcelona is on tonight, need to double-check though. that is a very tasty looking clash.
Tomorrow.

I'm most likely going to watch Chelsea. Tempted to change that to Besiktas United now I've seen Outlaw's bets for tonight.

Ancelotti looks so unhealthy. All that smoke. And he used to be a pro footballer lol!

And lol at Michel Salgado in the pundit section. Has he always been on there?

Normally Jamie Redknapp would be there.

It was quality when he would sit with the other pundits and their name will de displayed, with the european cup honours won underneath it, then it would turn to Redknapp, and there's nothing there :D
