2 Liverpool youngsters that Wenger must snap up in January
Trent Alexander-Arnold
After making his breakthrough to the first team, Alexander-Arnold has impressed with his recent form including a solid right-back performance at Old Trafford last weekend, when he was up against Anthony Martial. Trent, who was familiar with the centre-midfield role in the development set-up, has made his way to the right-back position in the first-team but is more than happy to play the position for the senior side.
The nineteen year old signed a new long-term contract on the same day as Woodburn, as Klopp clearly wants to keep the two youngsters at Anfield.
Alexander-Arnold could be a solid signing for Arsenal with his versatile positioning in key areas for the North London side, including centre-midfield and full-back.
The fee would be similar to Woodburn’s due to the new contract, but a player who could fill in to Arsenal’s side with their current injuries.
