After a fantastic and morale boosting victory over Bayern Munich in the Champions League, Arsenal return to Premier League action with the hosting of Everton.
The Gunners will be considered favourites for the tie, where a win can take them top of the table until at least Sunday afternoon, Arsenal won’t have an easy time on their hands against Roberto Martinez’ talented side.
Everton currently sit 9th in the league table, six points behind Arsenal in second, and have lost just twice this season- against both Manchester clubs at Goodison Park, with the loss at United last weekend being the most recent.
The Toffees are unbeaten on the road this season but have a habit of picking up draws. Nevertheless, they will provide a stern test for Arsene Wenger’s side to overcome.
