Arsenal’s major overhaul this summer is set to see the Gunners seek a wealth of top-class additions to bolster their ranks and Spanish football could be an area that the North London side look to exploit in the close season.
In recent years, Arsenal have signed the likes of Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez from Spanish football, whilst they also boast the likes of Santi Cazorla, Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal amongst their ranks.
Those players could easily help another La Liga signing settle into life at the Emirates Stadium and there’s likely to be plenty of top-class players available this summer, as targets seek a transfer to help boost their standing ahead of the World Cup next summer.
There’s also a number of frustrated players at top clubs that Arsenal could use to their advantage, as they did previously with the captures of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, whilst lower-tier clubs struggle to keep hold of their big names.
One man linked with a move to Arsenal is Villarreal winger Samuel Castillejo, who could be seen as a direct replacement for Alexis, and the Gunners could bring these five La Liga targets with the Spanish forward to the Premier League.
