The media is in a frenzy after Arsene Wenger’s comments at the club’s AGM yesterday, where Arsenal;s long-serving manager commented that he will see out the remainder of his contract and wanted to leave the club in a good position for his predecessor.

Following those comments, many suggestions have been made in the press that Arsene Wenger could step-down in two years, 2017, by which stage he would have been in charge of the Gunners for over two decades; a sensational achievement.

Whether Wenger remains beyond 2017, or leaves beforehand, remains to be seen. However, it raises an interesting question: who could replace Arsene Wenger in 2017? Well, we asked Jonathan Kaney for five suggestions.

What’s interesting is that 2017 is almost two seasons away, meaning many bosses would have retired and others would have emerged through the ranks. There’s plenty to take into consideration- and we want to know who your favourite would be for our next manager! Comment below!

Patrick Viera has no experience whatsoever in managing football and he should start learning the profession with a small club in the league . Roberto Martinez is too small for Arsenal even for Everton. Any one of the other three can do well after Wenger retire.

Bould all the way. Know Arsenal inside out. Was a successful youth coach like Guadiola. Guadiola graduated as a youth coach to coach Barcelona and now Bayern. So why not Bould? Bould is my pick.

Ancelotti like Mourinho is a cheque-book coach. They do well only in clubs that have money to buy any player they want. I don’t rate them.

  3. George Warkaka says:

    Jurgen Klopp
    Guardiola
    Simone
    Thierry Henry
    Chile National team coach.
