Post-match views from the forum:

Arsenia: “Shame about that last goal but we still have the best goal difference, best defence, and we have the club at the bottom of the table next! Hope we can capitalise.”

Blood on the Tracks: “Very good performance overall, particularly first half. Good reaction to the Porto game.

I’m nitpicking but we should have kept a clean sheet. The last 15 minutes or so was too disjointed and sloppy even with subs being made.

Standards need to be sky-high for the full 90 every match if we’re going to win this title.”

MutableEarth: “Bit annoyed we conceded at the end. ESR didn’t track Willock, Nelson didn’t help to track Burn. One of the reasons they’re still only subs – need to be switched on at all times. They were decent otherwise when they came in.

Top game from the team overall though. Especially the midfield today, they helped squeeze the game and they were on top of Newcastle’s midfield all game. Havertz at CF is far more effective than Havertz in midfield, even with the missed 1 on 1.”
