Yeah but we've dropped 12 points to West Ham, West Brom, Southampton and the ghost of Chelsea FC so you'd think we'd improve on that in the 2nd half. With a couple of signings and more more long term injuries I'd back us to improve upon 39 points. I think 45 is doable.
We've got a loooong way to go. We've played 2 of the top 7 from last season away from home so far- and lost both games. The other 5 to play away in the second half.

We'd do very well for ourselves if we manage to get 39 points again. Might just be enough to win the league though. But if it's not, all the damage would have been done in the first half of the season.

last time a team was leader after half of season with less than 40 points it was the arsenal 02/03 with 39 points like this time. but ManU were champions in the end. i have some feeling this is not going to happen this time :D
