Things need a shake up no doubt. Listening to **** Law it seems Wenger still does everything, which is old fashioned management.

We could hire someone, who has the trust of Wenger, to highlight players, close deals, deal with contract extensions etc.

Old fashioned and inefficient. Look how successful are Juventus, Bayern, Barcelona, Real Madrid along with a huge number of clubs who are doing well within the modern structure below the usual. They change managers every two/three or four years emphasizing more on the players and on gradual evolution of a group over a period. Its systematic, pragmatic and pro development. Most of all its progressive and brings results through a healthy process.

Basically specialization applied to the running of a football club.

I think if we can't nab Keita neither can Liverpool. My worry was Liverpool snapping up Dahoud but BvB got him. After that Goretzka apart there isn't much that could potentially improve Liverpool too much. Tah is another one and Brandt but they ain't likely to move this window and highly unlikely to Liverpool.

So it appears that Tielsmans is going Monaco, Goretzka heading to Bayern.

That now leaves Keita and Tolisso.

Dolberg has also stated he is staying at Ajax for another year.

Tolisso has said he wants to come to us. What is more likely is our new signing is Wilshere.

Wouldn't mind him as a replacement for Jenkinson and Debuchy on a short term contract. Free agent too.

zabaleta was actually a really useful player in his prime, cant say the same about arbeloa tbh.. i think he will be decent at west ham for a season or two
