Amen to that. Although Fabinho will be even harder to get than Lemar. Him and Tielemans are expected to anchor Monaco CM this season.
We definitely need another midfielder though. That is crucial.

Fabinho is not needed IMO. Great player but I don't think he is what Arsenal needs.

Seri is a better fit.

I thought it was a poor game overall with bits of skill here and there. The same issues remain in MF-I still want that dominant CM through whom we play. Without that,I feel we are at a disadvantage. The biggest worry was a lack of cohesion overall. It felt like a good fitness workout but not much else.

I think Bellerin needs more training on the WB role. Not too displeased with our showing we are quality and we will finish in the top 4 without a doubt, maybe with a trophy or two to boot.

Still having some problems with creating through the middle. Heavily dependent on wing play and crosses. Lemar would aid to that. But yeah would still need a CM.

Don't know what people are watching. Rambo too often out of position, no control.

Ox goes on his runs and always lashes his final ball with little composure.

Bellerin's strenght is ending up in the right position for a cross or a pass through his runs. Current formation has him receiving the ball very high up the pitch. Needs to change his game, Ox currently more suited to the position.

For years we've been having great pre seasons and losing our first league game.
Maybe this time we ll get it right when it matters, and not before.

We clearly need a top tier box-to-box CM. Ramsey is so average.
Ox is brilliant, our most frightening attacker from the wing back position.

Arsenal Quotes

Robert Pirès was a fabulous player, world-class, and for a few years, before his injury, he was unquestionably the best left-midfielder in the world by far. He had incredible technique, he was smart, a finisher. He was a killer with a smile, the gentlest man in the world who suddenly drive the ball exactly where it was needed.
