This is so setup for atleti to steal a 0-1 win back to madrid and a frustrating 0-0 there.

Just need to keep a clean sheet in the first game and i think we'll go through. The good thing with them is they're not the sort of team to score 3 or 4. We'll always be in the game.

Apart from that time they beat Lokomotiv 8-1 on aggregate, y'know, a month ago.

They are beatable. Everyone is. But if we do our headless chicken act and leak a goal or two at the Emirates we've had it.

We're not going to win 6-0 at home so we may as well try to keep them at 0 and sneak what we can. What we need is for them to have to come out and play in the second leg, not defend a positive result.

Not as beatable as we are, and that's the point.

Happy with that draw tbh. Better to go out now than in the final.

This is what I mentioned last night.

If we go out, we've got a few weeks that the fans can vent their frustrations during our final PL games.

If we had played Atletico in the final, the season would pretty much be over and the club would just rinse and repeat.

Having said that I think we have a chance against Atletico. They're nothing special, I'm not sure what all the fuss is about.

Wenger needs to get his selection right for both legs. Jack is finished and Wenger needs to accept it rather than keep playing him.

Fuming with Abidal, always giving us ****ty draws.

But Atletico are definitely beatable. Sporting had them on the ropes and kept a clean sheet. We can do the same if the lads at the back turn up.

Atleti aren’t the kind of team to spank you over two legs either. They’re happy to sit on 1/2 goal leads which could be good for us.

We can do this.

On a positive note, there's absolutely no way this Arsenal team can go into the 1st leg with any complacency. When we're switched on we're alright, so in that sense it's a good draw in terms of making sure we sit up and pay attention.

If we don't beat Atletico we don't deserve it. Can't chicken your way to the cup like United did. Let's win this as a fantastic club would and show some balls.

If we want to make any impact in the CL next year we need to be able to handle a team like Atletico in the EL.

They're the toughest draw could've got. If we actually manage to navigate our way past them I'm confident we'll comfortably swat aside the winner of Marseille - Salzburg match.

Football is a bit like elections. Before it's unpredictable. After it's unexplainable... But there's an opportunity for us to make it unforgettable.
