Inside knowledge? Keown has just been paying attention and not sucking him off all the time like so many others. Özil been pulling this **** for some time. Poor performance in a big game? Come out with there was some injury you had the whole time to help justify you doing **** all and rule yourself out for the next match. Did the same after Bayern a couple times for a couple different years and did the same after City this season.
