Bellerin is saying exactly what I keep saying. The CMs are there to protect the full backs. Having two deeper players is exactly what has made us look better with Torreira or Guendouzi covering Hector has more freedom to attack. He is no longer in the half positions between attack and defence where he gets the blame for not being where the ball is in an either attacking or defending sense

On top of that he has been starting on the bench and played on the wing the majority of the games, whereas Kane and Hazard are the absolute number one players at their club. Six goals by now is sensational. Absolute world class and dont really know if we can afford having him on the bench.

Its more about the line up. Moving Iwobi right stops Chilwell, playing with a left footed left back gives us an outlet down the left with Auba on.
First half Miki couldn't stay with Chilwell and Lichtsteiner couldn't use his left foot.
