Look how important Liverpools fullbacks are to their team. Need Tierney and Bellerin back so badly .

Bellerin try to play like Robertson

Norwich look decent as an attacking unit tbf. When they get their first-choice center-back pairing back, they could still be a threat.

Max Aarons looks really impressive, he’s not struggling at this level. He’ll be this years AWB imo.

They'll score goals for sure but their defense was questionable in championship already and they haven't strengthened. But it's not only a question of personnel. Farke needs to learn to play more conservative when needed if they want to stay up.

Can't wait for Pep to save us from Pool winning the league yet again.

God bless the bald fraud on that sacred mission.

Have to give Klopp credit for keeping his rotation/fringe players happy with them able to chip in when they have to come in, as happened on multiple occasions last season. In this case for the opener he had Origi ready to perform with Mane not ready. It definitely has worked for Liverpool, on a tighter budget than Man City (incl. wages), i.e. perhaps an overall squad philosophy Klopp had to not go and spend 80m on an attacking player for depth in the summer despite many thinking that was the obvious thing to do. Some of it is perhaps luck, but definitely more by design, imo.

Wouldn't be a proper first week of PL football without us going up against a giant and getting torn apart.

Hoping for a shock upset. You guys have quite a talented first XI. Anything can happen on opening day, but it's going to be incredibly tough indeed.

Arsenal Quotes

I was receiving offers from many other clubs and declining them all, even the most tempting ones. Juventus, Real Madrid, PSG contacted me, Bayern, France, England...I am happy to have been able to say no to more glory, more money, and to have been guided only by the idea of loyally serving the club. I had knitted myself a soul in Red and White.
