Why can't we play like a top team for once?

I'm not a doomlord. But you guys should know that bad performance will eventually catch up with. We cannot keep playing **** and expect to be winning consistently. I hope I'm wrong that we do turn it around. Look at Chelsea. Their defense is as bad as ours if not worse. Yet, they didn't struggle against Southampton today. Why don't we look capable of building attacks through the middle. Please don't tell me it's because we didn't play Özil.

Why do we invite pressure on ourselves at home FFS.

We can't keep ****housing our way to 3 points. Look at Sp**s last season. They kept playing poorly and coming away with wins. It got to a point when their bad performances caught up with them(except the CL)and they started loosing games.

All that said, I know we're going to finish top 4 despite Emery. But I don't think he's the coach to take us forward. I may be wrong though(and I'm happy to be).

Let's start winning games in style. Let's start striking fear into our opponents. Even in the last wenger days. We used to demolish midtable teams and bottom table teams at home.

Pls for those Emery brigade, Pls I'm not advocating we sack him. I'm just criticising some aspect of him game management.

Your mindset is 10 years back! This is the Premier League mate. The league has got better and other so called 'smaller teams' now have money and have improved. So you think Norwich and Wolves beating City was a fluke? Along with Brighton/Leicester beating Tottenham. Wake up!!!!

Massive improvement in all teams after 1 season?
Are you telling me this Sp**s side is playing as good as the one who got to the final of the Champions League?
Are YOU saying the likes of Leicester, Wolves, West Ham,etc haven't improved??

It’s interesting how people can’t see how competitive the league is and they think top 4 is a given. Another part of their agenda to sweep the legs from under Emery. Did you guys not see how quickly Manchester United fell in the past few years? Stability and results are more valuable than people are recognizing. I agree that eventually we need to be winning in style, but I guess I’m a bit more understanding that you can’t have it all right away, it’s about moving forward...

How can you say there’s an agenda against him after watching that? Bournemouth have one of the worst defences statistically in the league and we didn’t create a single clear cut chance from open play against them.

Last season showed results will catch up with you if don't improve your fundamentals. Forget about winning in style. This was a home game against one of the most beta away teams in the league. When you watch us go to Sheffield you'll see just how disjointed our shape and tactics are. Unless you want to chuck our away games like the last 2 seasons, this level of performance with 2 shots on target is scary.

The football has been easier to bear since I started viewing Emery as a transitional caretaker.

Edu, Sanllehi, Fahmy and Cagigao should finish the squad next summer and hopefully we will also appoint a manager that suits.

Willock and Ceballos? Much more energy and dynamism.

Xhaka may sit in front of defence, but he does very little in ways of actual defending, gets bypassed wait to easily.
He has clearly been told not to dive into tackles which he does alot and he did improve on that. Are you suggesting we use either Ceballos or Willock as holding midfielders?????

We won. 1 point behind City and in 3rd place. Get over yourself mate!

How can you be buzzing after watching us almost get turned over at home by one of the most bang average teams in the league?

They had the white flag up from kick off but how many chances did we create?

Based on what? I’d say they are around middle of the pack defensively. Chelsea has conceded more.

I’m not specifically happy with the performance. I’d definitely prefer my team to control the midfield since that’s what I’m used to. We did OK. Second half was too close.

We created chances as good as the “31 attempts” Watford had, ya’ll don’t count those now?

Ceballos has been played much deeper than Binnery players him. With Willock and Geundouzi it can work, since all three have good movement and tactical ability (Though there's a case to be made that is an area Guendo needs to improve).

Are you sugesting we keep playing Xhaka and seeing a dead midfield from Binnery week after week?

Take a good luck at the Liège game, even taking their actual level into account, look at how much positive that performance was when compared to the dross football we saw today.

Be more clinical maybe? Dont f**k up counters like we did at 2nd half because of poor passing or touches? These things important if you want to win big

I am immensely proud to say that I am the manager who has won the most FA Cups, and MY Arsenal are the club to lift it the most.
