That was awful to watch. Can’t hold on to a 2-0 lead, our midfield is just nowhere. Horrible VAR decision to disallow Sokratis’ goal, but I barely care coz our football is making my eyes bleed atm. We have two top strikers but can barely get a pass to them. We go from trying attack to getting sliced open far too easily.
On the plus side, Tierney looked good and Pepe looks like he’s finally arrived, those two goals mid-week seems to have done wonders for his confidence.

How you can blame Atkinson for the VAR decisions?

He show a Zaha dive instead of a clear penalty.
He show nothing wrong with the Sokratis goal. Just VAR overturned him and he had no choice to do something else. What a farce.

You can blame him for all the fouls, which Palace got during the game.

This game had a lot to talk after that:

Another Emery disasterclass.
Only chances created from corners.
Bottled a 2:0 lead again (at home this time).
Özil chants.
Fanbase disgraceful, Xhaka accident.
We should not talk about CL in near future.
