I firmly believe that MU got so lucky this year with Martial and Rashford. They both scored 17 goals with 6-7 assists. Did MU fans really expect such numbers when they sold both Sanchez and Lukaku? I don't think so, and I believe Martial, in particular, is not a player that can consistently score +15 every season; too injury prone and usually without motivation. Rashford, on the hand, is a great young player, but again, +15 may not be reproducible for him. Frankly speaking, the bought Ighalo in the winter windows, which shows how much they struggle. Sadly, COVID help them a lot :(

United going to get 13m for Sanchez? We can even get rid of some of our players for free

Tierney looks a bargain doesn’t he....
Definitely, though I think everyone was saying it would be at the time too. Tierney going directly to a big club and doing well will be a good thing for the SPL in the long run. They can point to him and argue for higher prices on their players without having to sell them to bottom PL sides for a pittance just to prove they can do it before the eventual big move.

Still, having to pay a record fee for Chillwell when you could have had this for a third of the price is a piss take really.

Odd how no club pulls the trigger on an Alex Telles transfer. Just links every window & suggest fee now just 22m I read.

Arsenal Quotes

In June 1996, David Dein, Peter Hill-Wood and Danny Fiszman came out to Nagoya to meet me on behalf of Arsenal. Within an hour we came to an agreement. The Japanese directors didn't try to keep hold of me in the usual way but talked with persuasive arguments... But as far as I was concerned, the decision was taken. Arsenal. A decision that would change my life.
