That's, like, your opinion, man.

I think ESR hasn’t travelled.

Really not looking forward to a potential Laca, Willian, Pepe front 3 without an Ödegaard to help.

Yeah, me neither. But usually that should be enough to get past them?

Martinelli should be starting anyway.

Rotate, Rotate, Rotate.

Ryan
Cedric, holding, Mari, Lopez
Xhaka Azeez
Pepe Nelson Martinelli
Nketiah

Subs: Leno Bellerin, Gabriel, elneny Ceballos, Willian, Saka, Lacazette, Balogun

Experimental team but we need to see if some of these players deserve to be getting more game time. Martinelli is the obvious one but I would like to see Eddie. Arteta refused to loan him out in January so if we cant play him against bottom on the league in a dead rubber then that's awful man management.

The midfield is the biggest issue. I would totally leave out Partey. He will play on Thursday despite lack of form so rest him and hopefully he can pick it up. Ceballos doesnt deserve to be in the starting lineup and the prospect of a Xhaka and Elneny midfield against Sheffield United is rather depressing so I would go Azeez.

I can see Arteta doing this and then playing a midfield three of Xhaka, Ceballos and Elneny

Like he did against west Ham in the first half.

This is my fave Emirates photo for example, something so pure about it, unspoiled by failures. So full of hope.

Should hammer these punks but you never know with that clown Arteta.

Hope he plays Willian in the 10, Martinelli and Pepe wide. Dont care about the rest of the team.

Hearing Holding’s been given the armband for the evening as Heccy & Auba are absent. Well deserved.

Moyseh’s Hammers 3 up against AM favourite Super Manager Brendan.

3-3 not looking like such an awful result now eh?

Might as well build a temporary statue for him as well. You're on a wind up, but I'm pretty much past caring with this team at the moment!

Statue made out of Legos?

Im feeling pretty bad for them at the moment. They can’t help it if they’re average footballers. Desperately want to see Nelly given a go.

With Auba out hopefully Martinelli will start at CF since Laca played the 90 mins in the Europa.

Opta stats

  • Sheffield United are unbeaten in all four home Premier League matches against Arsenal (W2 D2), winning their last two 1-0 in 2006-07 and 2019-20.
  • Arsenal have played more Premier League matches at Bramall Lane without winning than at any other ground (4). Their last away top-flight win at Sheffield United was in April 1991, winning 2-0 with goals from Kevin Campbell and Alan Smith.
  • London teams have won each of their last three Premier League visits to face Sheffield United at Bramall Lane (West Ham, Tottenham, Chelsea), as many as sides from the capital had won in their first 24 visits to the ground in the competition (W3 D6 L15).
  • None of Sheffield United's last 16 Premier League games have finished level (W4 L12), with only Manchester City (19) on a longer current run without a draw.
  • This will be Sheffield United's 24th consecutive Premier League game starting the day bottom of the table - only six teams have ever had a longer such run in the competition, most recently Aston Villa in 2015-16 (28 games).

A win does nothing for us in the league, a loss won't get Ar-****-a sacked. Genuinely not bothered about the game today. Lowest I've been as an Arsenal fan in my 35 years on earth.

On a brighter note, gyms and pubs open tomorrow and it is still half-term in my L.E.A.

Arsenal Quotes

I think without doubt that Bergkamp is the most talented player to have played for Arsenal in the past 30 years, for as long as I can remember
