People will force it, but bright moments aside ultimately he did nothing like the rest of the front 4. He's not a 10 and went missing too much.
He's a combination player more so than anything. Pepe and Gabi are very much not that.

Showed more ball's than Xhaka ever has, apart from that time he told us all to **** off of course.

I agree, he's a combination player but this version of him is never going to control any games.

Just play him out wide and get a competent 10 in.

The fact that this little kid asked for the number 10 and the main role in our team in order to stay and we give him that shows how far we have fallen.

I am not saying that he is bad, he is a very good prospect, but the amount of pressure we pilled on Saka and him is embarrassing. we are a big club, 10 years ago this kid would be fighting for a spot on the bench and he would be happy about that.

ESR is not a 10, and he's not a playmaker. He's an 8 and a connection player - and has a chance to be elite in that role. Him wearing #10 doesn't change that. William Gallas also wore #10 for us.

You're wrong, no?

What did we have back then, Nasri and Fabregas? I think we're lucky that the academy produced Saka and ESR, imagine where we would be without them

Good little nippy player, trying his best to make do with shabby tactics and disinterested teammates. He's not gifted with great creativity but he makes up for it with doing the basics well, incredible work rate and immense drive.

People say He’s not this or that and went missing. I just find it remarkable he’s managing to do so much in an Arteta team as an attack minded player.

Exciting to see how he develops under Conte.

You mean when Conte takes over at United next season after Ole is sacked, and signs ESR from us?

As there is no way Don Antonio is coming near the hot mess that is Arsenal football club

If Saka and ESR played under prime Wenger, they would be so devastating. They think the game so fast and have the technique to execute.

He's alright. Good enough to start regularly for Arsenal. Wouldn't get into the first team for any other club that finished above us last season though. Needs a lot more quality around him I think.
