The Newcastle fans are so cute now that they are trying to convince themselves that Howe isnt underwhelming.

Im really glad Unai has said no. He's a decent fella
Certainly wouldnt have liked him to hit the buffers with the Toon & be summoned to the Saudi Embassy.

Anyhow whoever gets it I hope they fail.

Think they should give some cnut like JT the job.

The state of Saudi Arabia are now leaking to the british press that it was a staggering U-turn from Emery that fvcked the deal. This may be true to some extent but they want to say that the current situation is all his fault and i dont think thats the case.
The Newcastle fans swallow all these leaks though and are now, somewhat desperately, trying to portray Eddie Howe as a british Nagelsmann while saying that Emery isnt anything special after all (they wanted to give him a blowjob yesterday).
They are so incredibly pathetic now that i really want their club relegated more than before.

Glad Emery didn't go to Newcastle, tbh.

Didn't work out here for him, but seems a good guy...and I really want Newcastle to get relegated, so happy I don't have to vote against him.

And no more Toonai puns.

Howe’s Bournemouth teams always played nice football but they were very bad defensively. They were conceding almost 70 goals every season. I don’t think it’s a given he keeps them up, especially if he can’t get them tighter at the back.

This is true.

Season 1: Only one team (the 20th) conceded more goals than Bournemouth.

Season 2: Bournemouth conceded the same amount of goals as the season before.

Season 3: Bournemouth conceded more goals than two of the relegated teams.

Season 4: Bournemouth conceded the most goals of all the non-relegated teams.

Season 5: Only two teams conceded more goals than Bournemouth.

Its fairly obvious that Eddie Howe doesnt know how to build a sustainable defence

People wanted Howe here not so long ago...

On the prospect of signing for Howe at Newcastle, Wilshere added: “I would love to. I’m not sure if he would take me though...I worked with him before and I still speak with him so I could ask the question."

...Super Jack to be Newcastle's Robinho?

No way football should be sullied MBS’ team. The PL has shown that they would sell Hitler himself a team if he had a trillion or so? Never mind Dunkirk or the camps Herr Feurher, please wire the money here.

Should be an interesting development. Before we start getting too carried away, it should be noted that they can't throw money at players the way Chelsea and Manchester City did because of Financial Fair Play restrictions. So this will be different. However, considering the £41 million loss Newcastle took when they dropped back to the Championship, plus lowered commercial revenue, they should be able to file a 3-year plan with UEFA to inject some cash into players.

Newcastle's wage bill of about £112 million is about half of Arsenal's. They can only increase it by 7% plus any new non-TV revenue they can create from sponsorships, match day revenue and player sales (their revenue was only about £178 million last year). This is where Newcastle could get a really big financial boost though. City has been able to sidestep FFP to some extent though enormous sponsorship deals that are somewhat incestuous, but apparently far enough removed from a direct line to the ownership to pass muster. I'll be interested in seeing what Newcastle can come up with in sponsorships.
FFp means as little to MBS as human rights, they own one trillion is assets you don’t think they can sign sponsorships with one one of the dozens of companies they own or their family members who are equally rich own. Countries and Dictators whether they wear a crown or not should not be allowed to own club teams. Especially really evil countries

Incredibly underwhelming tbh. He'll just about keep them up probably. Might get them mid-table next year but I doubt he'll be there much longer than that.

There is a very good chance they could be relegated, tbh.

There squad is crap, and I don't think they will get many good players in January...clubs won't want to sell their key players halfway through the season, even with the money and I can't see them really getting the players they need.

Not sure who they could have gotten, think they just wanted someone with history of promotions, which Howe has got, incase the worst does happen.

Arsenal Quotes

When you start supporting a football club, you don’t support it because of the trophies, or a player, or history, you support it because you found yourself somewhere there; found a place where you belong.
