20/21 Arsenal Squad Decision time: Who to keep or sell?

I was going to wait until the season closed for this, but I think we could all do with some distraction.

Below you'll find a cheat table. Use it if you'd like. We have a lot of players who need to moved on because their either at the end of their contracts, not performing, not good enough or who we could sell to generate funds. To keep things simple, keeping a player most likely mean renewing them if their in the last year of their contract.

If someone can get a less ****ty format than mine going, I'll update it accordingly. I suck at Excel.

Apart from Holding, Cedric and Ødegaard actually. I don't love Holding or Cedric obviously, but they're just back-ups, I'd keep just to save from having to replace them. And Ødegaard i'm starting to doubt, yknow, how much would Madrid want for him, does he score/assist enough, have we actually seen enough to commit to him. It's tricky, I like him a lot, but maybe there are alternatives, like Buendia, who are coming off much better seasons.

Jesus, by my calculations from that list I'd keep 16 players. And you need about 24-25. Say we promote Azeez and Balogun, that's still 6-7 players to bring in. Don't trust this club to do that much business, or to do it well.

Tried to keep it realistic. Conflicted on Ødegaard, there are players I'd target before him but I'm not opposed to bringing him in permanently if those targets fail.

One can only hope, but I think he's getting more money and job security here, than at other clubs. Whole family in London, etc.

Could see him living in the US tho, it's a huge attraction for Brazilians with money and he could live in Cali, which has much better weather.

That's true but 25 isn't a target to hit. Better 21 consistent players than 25 where 6-7 are unusable.

Most of the squad and team will be same next season, 15-18 of these guys have been just given new contracts by the current regime. El Neny also claims his agent has been offered a new deal.

Some kids will be sold and that’s it.
