He is only on trail. Perhaps he is on trail to become Stan's shoes polisher. Could be anything really... well, except for footballer of course.

I'm as incredulous about this as anybody else but I think we should leave the shoe polisher type statements out of things. A professional player's a professional player. It's not their fault if they get opportunities at clubs beyond their usual sphere of ability. They don't need to be called names for that.

Can't believe you're all slating this guy without ever seeing him play.

He may not be first choice, but if when called upon he pulls the shirt on with pride and does a job for us where multi-million-pound signings have failed then his name, price tag, international caps, etc, simply don't matter do they.

Welcome to the arsenal lad!

Guys, he's going on a trial so if he gets signed it'll be because he impressed Wenger during his trial. He'll cost peanuts and might be a decent option on our benches so I don't see why people are complaining. If Wenger got it right on Koscienly I fail to see why he can't unearth another gem from Ligue 2.

In this day and age it's nearly impossible to find hidden gems. I don't see why we should gamble on a player like this, it's more likely that he will turn out to be like Park than anything else.

There is money to burn. Just spend it on a good player and you will actually know what you're going to get and they will be able to make an instant impact.

For every Koscielny there is group of Chamakh, Park, Santos, Gervinho, Squillaci, Bischoff and Denilson.

It's amazing how some people just give credit to Wenger on finding these gems and completely forget how many misses he's had in recent years.

He might have been able to find some amazing gems in the past but it's getting harder all the time. If this guy was anywhere near Arsenal quality he wouldn't be playing in Ligue 2 as a 27 year old.

If there's any truth to this rumor, i expect it to be just a sad example on how committed Wenger is to his crusade to show that "you can find quality without buying names". It's really sad because it just shows how this club has turned from one of the most respected and successful football clubs in the world into one man's tool to promote his idealistic and comfortless agenda

Koscielny had had a full season in ligue 1 before we signed him and he was a 24 year old centre back, this guy is a 27 year old midfielder who currently plays in ligue 2. It isn't exactly like for like.

but Holding’s hair transplant was painless
So Wenger is a changed man - he's showed this in signing a 27 year old unknown with zero pedigree!

El Jadeyaoui was here just for a trial.

Even if he is to be signed up, I hope its with the NEW wage structure in place.

We cannot have a socialist structure anymore Wenger!

Arsenal Quotes

When you look at people who are successful, you will find that they aren’t the people who are motivated, but have consistency in their motivation.
