Very good performance. I think this current role really fits his strengths as a player.

A big reason for that is that we don't use our full-backs the same way most teams do.

Seen a few mention he could do a job in midfield and I definitely agree with that. Tomiyasu at RB and White in the position Elneny played yesterday seems like an overall upgrade to me, but obviously that's just speculation as we haven't seen him actually play there. In the role he plays now though he often takes up similar positions and does well.

Will be interesting to see what Arteta does in the EL and domestic cups with the CB positions… so many options.

He’s seems to be a very unselfish guy, he made no fuss about being pushed out to right back and seems to be a good guy for the team spirit.
