The boy has hardly had any breaks since the restart. He is still growing I honestly think he should have been rested today because it's obvious that he is part of the first team.

Hopefully he is just using everything in his power to get a massive wage rise, as he would deserve it really, considering the current state of the club.

Be such a shame if he wants to leave after not even one full season in the first team, would show how **** modern football is...regardless how poor the club is doing, we did show enough faith to get him to this point, he owes us one more contract imo...when he is 22 and if we are still ****, then he can leave for a better team...he will be playing week in week out if he stays here, he shouldn't forget how important that would be for his development.

Surprised he's not blowing chunks with the amount of football he's played since the restart. A clear indication of his importance to the way we play now though - especially considering the many traits he has that most of the squad lack.

I'd like to see him have a day off on Wednesday, lest we lose him due to overplaying him.

You're wrong, no?

I'm sure an 18 year old boy can recover from a game just as fast as 25y old would and I don't see any reason why he wouldn't play every game

It's frequency has to be taken into account aswell to be fair, it's a lot of football in a short space of time.

That said, during his stint at left back, he did prove to be pretty resilient.

Him and Mustafi are the only player to have started all our games, I think

Balogun is leaving, our best talent yet to break through. Same agent as Saka and Nelson. Worth remembering Nelson signed his new deal on the last day of the transfer window a couple of years back before his loan move. He also had 1 year left at the time.

You must be kidding. He already has 10+ assists, and consistently provides the most to our attack. He is amazing.
I don't know if he's generational though, but that's where people start arguing over definitions rather than the player.

In terms of his arrival on the scene he's pipped Iwobi but ranks below Wilshere for me. I think Wilshere is where you at least start to talk about once in a generation prospects.

Arsenal Quotes

This is a big moment of happiness...we waited a long time for this and the happiness is linked sometimes with the suffering, and the time that you have to wait....this was more important than all the other (trophies) we have twice won the double, but were not under pressure then like we were today.
