Ligue 1 started as well today with OM opening the season with a Bang! 4-0 vs Toulouse in front of 60,000 fans at the Velodrome. Payet with 2 goals, Germain and Thauvin (who played the last 10 min) each had 1.

Keep an eye on this gem of a young player, Boubacar Kamara, 18 yrs old, who marshaled the Marseille backline this evening. He is going places!

First game of the season and Depay is at it again with great goals by curling a freekick just outside the box to secure 3 points for OL.
Interesting to see that he was used as a central striker and even put Traore in a good situation to score at one point.
We should be all over this guy as soon as possible. He's scoring worldies and assisting on a regular basis.

Bordeaux Press Agent: We're done here.

Poyet: No we're done when I want, not when you want

Mbappe is back in L1 and two goals vs Guingamp. He can in at half time with Paris losing 1-0 and scored 2 goals. He is a phenomenon.
Great image at the end of the game, Gigi Buffon exchanging jerseys with Marcus Thuram (great talent). Marcus is Lilian's son and was born in Parma where his father was playing with no other than Gigi in 1997.
Great images. Buffon is class (on and off the field).

Vieira's at Nice, Henry's going to Bordeaux, we're taking over! Just need Aliadiere to take charge at Dijon now.

Apart from that fascist stuff and inciting huge amounts of vile abuse towards Michael Oliver last season.

Not a bad shout, wouldn't be surprised if LB is a position Sven and his team are studying already for next summer.

Vieira lost 0:4 at home with Nice against Dijon.
    1 point after three games.

But yeah, he was ready for Arsenal.

I agree that he wasn't ready for Arsenal.

I wouldn't blame Vieira for the poor start Nice have had to the season though. They're in a very unstable position.

Over the past 2 seasons they've lost:

    Le Marchand

Souquet and Balotelli have more or less downed tools.

That's 11 key players gone. There are now only 4 remaining 1st team players from the 2016-2017 season:

Ridiculous turnover. And to make matters worse, the replacements for those players have generally been young, inexperienced, and inferior.
