What happening at Monaco ? They seem so awful and keeping losing game
As a fan of the club, that's what happens when we keep selling our best and brightest talents (Mbappé, Bakayoko, Mendy, Moutinho, Ghezzal, Fabinho, Lemar to name a few) and keep buying very young prospects at very low price.
We're paying the price of an owner who's more interested in keeping the wealth we accumulated from the sale of all these players than reinvesting it.
It's sad, but it was expected.
Why you haven't spent the money you got from these players i mean you got t about 300M. Does the owner don't want to invest anymore?
Pretty sure the owner's intention has never been to invest in the club, but more to buy low, sell high, invest a minimum, and keep the profits.
Jardim's strenght is to develop players to the top of their abilities. We were lucky enough to have a wonderful crop of young, very good players through scouting.
I'm fairly certain we have made some bad decisions in our recruitment this summer (Golovin, I have a feeling, might be a flop).
Then again, we still have a good team and we can probably turn this around, but we're more than likely not getting CL football next year. I see us ending at the middle of the table.
PSG/Lyon kicking off. Red card a piece in the first half
Mbappe scored 4 goals in 13 minutes. wow
He’s utterly sensational. Can’t wait to see him progress and add to his game as the great players tend to do.
Young players need to look at him, could have gone to Madrid but game time comes first and he’s ripping it up, his situation is a bit unique though as he’s good enough to start at a team like PSG but the point still stands.
Himself and Dembele were being rated similarly then one went to Barca and didn’t play, the other played a starters minutes and went into a World Cup more experienced and full of confidence. We know how the rest played out...
Mbappe needs to leave the garbage French League.
Definitely doing greater things than both Ronaldo and Messi did at the same age.
What’s happened to him managing Villa with John Terry??? Thought that was as good as done.
Rejected them according to the Birmingham Mail:
Monaco need Big Sam, not the French Arteta
John Terry in his own would be jokes. Would he refuse to manage against Chelsea out of respect?
the wrong Portuguese manager alas
Crazy how things like this happen.
Just further highlights Wenger’s achievements and why Fergie just might have been the GOAT manager.
While they are obviously great managers, neither had to have straight up fire sales, damn near selling off their whole starting XI, during their reign like Jordin did decently either tbf.
