Classic case of broadcasters hyping up the product because it’s in their interest to and saying it enough times until people believe it.

It’s a bit closer to Bundesliga in terms of competitiveness nowadays with 1 powerhouse and 2nd place rotating.

You’re way more likely to have to see out the match with 10 men though, so in some ways I guess it’s tougher?

In 94/95, they were 4 teams relegated from the Prem and only 2 promoted.

Think we need something like that again, some of these teams are just woeful.
To get it back to a respectable level you'd have to change the rules so 10th to 15th place get relegated and 16th to 20th are put under administration.

Nobody needs whatever the **** a Looting Town is.

Back in the day Kompany would be hospitalised with that ulcer on his forehead, now he's managing a club because he looks like he's differently abled. The bar is on the FLOOR.

League is very weak
West Ham vs Luton, Everton vs Sheffield Utd back to back, absolute dross.

Not quality game today, you’re waiting till tomorrow for Arseval/Utd and Utd ain’t great.

Real lack of quality.

Off food shopping over this. Sheffield United being on TV back to back is a disgrace.

Was just gonna say, even last week Chelsea at home to Luton as the Friday night fixture is just bizarre. Looking at the fixtures today nothing mouthwatering Barclays just ain't hitting no more.

You do think this is the peak era? We’ve been through it for the last 18 months or so. You tried to shuffle your way out of it the other day by saying the PL “middle class” is stronger or whatever.

Yeah, the best teams have always been strong but the non-European teams have never been this good. Hardly a controversial take.

Arsenal Quotes

The only moment of possible happiness is the present. The past gives regrets. And future uncertainties. Man quickly realised this and created religion. It forgives him what he has done wrong in the past and tells him not to worry about the future, as you will go to paradise.
