This! More than a few on redcafe have us the most deluded fans in the PL. WTF? Really? The vast majority of us have us around 6th, maybe 5th if that. I think it is the fact that they have spent significant amounts of money over quite a few years buying top names. We really haven’t. They finished second last season, wasn’t it? And they have got the better of most teams and us over many years. With that as background and overblown pride and subjectivity I can see how you think we are deluded. Hope they are in for a bit of an awakening. They are not winning anything for the next year couple of years.
