No but why would Poch want United? Has he mentioned it before? No manager since Fergie has them going at all and they have problems within the board.

Because Man United is:

Much bigger than Arsenal.
Has a bigger income
Has more money for players and wages
Has more history
Has player who aren't on in contract battles or are looking out.
While keeping his legacy (albeit no trophies) still in tact with Sp**s.

If he is going to join a club in England it will be United. Going to Liverpool or City after their success will mean his only way is down.

United represents an opportunity to build something with resources. It may not work but by heck it is more ideal than coming to us.

He may move abroad to another country but It will be Spain or England. I cant see him going to Bayern a mediocre league. Which leaves Real madrid in spain or united.

Poch knows what he’s doing 100% putting that out.

Saying he doesn’t need time away means “offer me jobs now”. How are talks going @OnlyOne ?

Arteta is beginning to look like the only option before the summer - luckily for many he is more than a beggars can't be chosers choice

interestingly he is yet to say a word on his future

Haven't United reiterated they see Ole as a long term project? He's not being sacked anytime soon.

Also, why is everyone sure Poch wants United? Has he mentioned it before? Just curious.
Woodward backed Mourinho publicly like two weeks before firing him. Sanllehi-Emery too. It means nothing. If anything it's worse because public briefings mean they know the pressure is coming. You don't see Pep and Klopp being backed every few weeks/months.

If they lose next two games it's over for Ole. Look at this:

As far as Poch-United I remember reading last year around this time that Woodward is in love with him and he's his man and Poch feels the same way about United. So nothing public, but there have been reports and it kinda seems telegraphed honestly.

Also Zidane may be sacked at the end of the season unless he wins La Liga or CL and Perez will want Poch or Allegri (both rejected him after ZZ left the first time). If we don't jump in for Allegri and present an enticing project those two will split Utd and RM jobs between themselves IMO.

Both clubs are as big as each other with Liverpool

They don’t have players in contract battles because most of them are ****. Having said that, Herrera just left after running down his contract and Pogba tried to force his way out all summer (something Lukaku managed to do successfully). Man Utd are a spent force. The brand is still there and they still generate massive amounts of cash but it’s a horribly run club that’s going nowhere.

Unfortunately, this could be said of us.

Lukaku left because it didnt work out at United. He wasnt wanted there. Not, he was wanted and united wanted to keep him.

Every club has bad years but if any club has the statue and resources to bounce back its United. It isn't an easy thing to do but if Poch comes in gets back and the signings they make are half decent they could be challengers in 3-4 years. Remember normally a few things change the landscape of the league and by that time Klopp and Pep will be gone and their influence in clubs and signing players is huge.

12 manager shortlist?

If the club have to interview 12 people it shows the lack of knowledge those higher up at the club have.

I hate social media as it gives nobody's the platform to be heard and gain publicity from basically talking crap.

Cross says in that article they're going to narrow it down to 4-5 names from the original 12 man list.
