Only hope is that we lose to Wolves and then to Leicester, the pressure will really ramp up then. But but we're not meant to want our team to lose so I guess I'll just have to cheer them on. :)

Board are absolute f*cking idiots if they don’t look at the last two games and think it’s time to cut loose.

The guy’s lost the dressing room, the fans and has almost no redeeming qualities.

Only sliver of hope is that Laurens chats a lot of sh*t, think he was wrong in the summer a fair bit iirc.

Mourinho would be a poor hire, our squad is very young. It's built for fluid football not grinding out results. His United spell showed he's not at the level he once was, the game has moved on. He wouldn't do well with our strikers, his teams have always had a target man. He'd be more worried about Pepe tracking back than being involved in the attack. Would sell the likes of Nelson the first chance he gets as well. He moaned continuously about not getting the signings he wanted at Utd, we've been a bit better about spending recently but he'd still throw tantrums over our spending I'd imagine.

All that said he would improve us a bit but that's not hard at the moment.

The board need to use better judgement and not go for an easy, desperate appointment like Mourinho. They should do their homework, it's got disaster written all over it. Whatever short-term success you may gain, it's not worth the hassle he'll bring to the club, in various ways.

do you think the players would be excited if Mourinho replaced Emery? surely they would be relieved and regalvinized, initially anyway
and if that was enough to get us into the top 4 this season it would be enough pro tem
I'm betting they'd be excited if the towel boy replaced Emery.

Julien Lauren says Arsenal don't want Mourinho and that Emery is totally safe.

To quote some baldy ****er who caused most of this “Those who know, won’t speak. And those who speak don’t know”.

So with that in mind I think Juliens Laurens know nothing.

No matter which manager you hire, he cannot succeed unless you give him control of the transfer policy. He needs to have the liberty to buy/sell any player he wants within the transfer budget provided by the board.

Mourinho failed at Man United because he was not given the freedom to pursue his transfer targets. Do people think Klopp would be where he is today if the Liverpool owners would have blocked his moves for VVD and Allison?

bringing in Mourinho and forcing him to work with the signings made by Raul is just daft. You give him x money and tell him to buy or sell whoever he wants as long as he can meet the club’s objectives after y number of years. If he doesn’t, he gets sacked.

If he wants to sell Nelson who looks like a homeless man’s Sancho at the moment he should be allowed to do so. The ultimate goal is to improve the team and not improve certain individuals that we want to see do well.

Emery is crap, but if he wanted Nzonzi there is no reason why the board should have forced Torreira on him.

The job of people like Raul is to sign the players that the manager wants, and not to sign the players for the manager and then ask him to work with them.

Arsenal Quotes

A player's true character is in how he plays and not in his social life. You can hide your real personality in your social life, You cannot on the field.
