My ratings from the match

Ramsdale - 7/10. One dodgy pass but overall looked assured and made a couple of good saves.

White - 7/10. Tricky assignment to contain Palace's main threat but did reasonably well and kept him quiet for the majority of the match.

Saliba - 11/10. Timing of tackles was perfect and bailed out half the team at various points  Looks an absolute worldie in the making.

Gabriel - 8/10. Very solid and looked assured aside from one missed tackle was a calm presence at the back

Zinchenko - 7/10. Nice assist for the goal, looked ok defensively for the most part.

Xhaka - 7/10. Stupid dive and deservedly booked but otherwise looked reasonably solid and progressed play well. Missed a couple of throughballs to Jesus but hopefully he gets used to this as Lacazette wasn't an option through last year.

Partey - 7/10. Broke up play well, a few well timed fouls, can't believe he managed to give a foul away for 0 contact on Zaha  but overall much improved performance from last year

Ødegaard - 6/10. Look tidy at points but failed to pull the trigger twice in very good positions, needs to improve. Had he scored either of his chances we'd have been comfortable much earlier on.

Martinelli - 7.5/10. Looked sharp and busy, good finish for the first goal but would like to see more over a game.

Jesus - 8/10. Looked dangerous, sharp, quick thinking and good pace/dribbling, made Palace think twice about pressing too high up in the first half. Unlucky not to score.

Saka - 7.5/10. Similar story to Martinelli, would like to see more over 90 minutes.

Overall very solid result, good to go to one of the trickier grounds in the EPL and get a clean sheet and a win. TOP OF THE LEAGUE

Saka for me, we're nothing without him.

Saliba was good and all but Saka was vital to restrain Zaha, took a perfect corner on the first goal, made up an own goal to kill the game. He just did everything.

Saka showed again today he's a top class wing back in the making.

White was very good up against the little complaining gimp that is Zaha, everyone played well too...but isn't even a choice tonight.

Saliba was just perfect, delt with everything without even looking like he was trying...style mixes perfectly with the more aggressive and vocal Gabriel.

Please let him sign a new deal here

Drop everyone down a point apart from saliba & ramsdale and I would agree.

Arsenal Quotes

You kind of never leave Arsenal. How many comebacks do you make? At one point it will turn out to be a bad move. We all love the first Rocky but I'm not too sure about the last one.
