Mancheater City: 115

City fans should just accept they've won the lottery and enjoy the success that had come because of it. However don't compare yourself with the utd, arsenals, Liverpool's, who's position in world football has been built from the ground up in an organic way. And haven't bought success like city.
Hahahahaha!!! Brilliant, not like ANY of those clubs EVER had a hand up in their history, is it now? Organic my @rse.

Deluded.

You've literally received THE biggest hand up's in footballing history. Spent more than a 1bn on players in the last 10years double that of the next nearest club utd.

So in the politest way possible, shut up and go FCK yourself. I will longer waste the energy in my thumbs to respond to an absolute tool like you. You give all the decent city supporters a terrible name.

I remember them getting problems with FFP, and then they went out and struck up new sponsorship deals to get in the needed money. Thing was these new sponsors were either directly owned by City's owners or at least in bed with them. So going by the rules they are self sufficient, but obviously it's a sham.

So I tell you that statement is patently wrong, and you get the @rse? Quality retort.

Not.

None of the sponsorships are from companies directly owned by Mansour. Please try again.

Oh, and ALL sponsorships have been ratified by UEFA, so as I asked another poster, please enlighten us all on what you know, and they don't?

Maybe not directly by Mansour, but just regarding Etihad, your shirt and stadium sponsor:

"Etihad is governed by a board of directors chaired by Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan."

"Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is an Emirati businessman and managing director of Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. He is a member of the Al Nahyan, ruling family of Abu Dhabi."

"The Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) is a sovereign wealth fund owned by Emirate of Abu Dhabi (in United Arab Emirates) founded for the purpose of investing funds on behalf of the Government of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi."

"Board of directors of ADIA [...]
  • Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs (UAE) [...]"

"He [Mansour] is also the owner of the privately held Abu Dhabi United Group (ADUG), a specialist investment company that successfully acquired Manchester City Football Club in September 2008"

I just quickly followed a trail on wiki, and that's already what I got. Also, please bare with me for how it looks or that I didn't dig deeper cause I'm working atm.

That's a hell of a lot of entanglement right there. Going by the rules, it is allowed, but that kind of cross financing between the different branches of the Al Nahyan family's economic endeavours cannot be disputed. And that's right where I'd say this isn't a properly self sufficient club.
It's kinda like running a business and losing money through it, but your rich brother keeps helping you out financially. It's working out, but in reality it's not even close to being self sufficient with that business.

Really?

Don't think you lot are in any position to talk about the lack of fans, the way you have abandoned the stands at the first sign of adversity.
First sign of adversity:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
It's taken 12 years to get to this point. In that time, we've had an 8-2, 10-2 over two legs, beaten 6-3, 6-0 and 5-1 in a season where we might have challenged for the league, sold innumerable amount of players to rivals, signed Danny Welbeck. These are just a handful of embarrassments Arsenal fans have to contend with. They've been packing the stadium out even though the ticket prices are a piss take. We have simply been pushed too far.
I agree, calling someone a cnut because they speak the truth, is a ridiculous statement.
You're not a ****, clearly not a ****. You just have a hard time accepting the truth. You're a Manc Makingtrax.
