Matteo was always going to start today it seem Torreira not fully fit yet. I don't trust cech he always seem putting his defense under pressure when we start build an attack from him

They are starting with Agüero, Mahrez and Sterling and they still have Sane, De Bruyne and Jesus on the bench. David Silva not even in the squad. Yeah..

Cech should have better options to pass to, so we should not be seeing those poor clearances anymore.

My main concern is Xhaka, he needs to be protected as far as possible. Ramsey needs to assist in that regard.

As for Guendouzi, fully deserved. So happy to see him there :)

I think it will be too early for Torreira to start as he's not been back long. Also pretty sure Ramsey (if fit) and Xhaka come back in now that preseason is over, but we'll see.

Think we'll line up:

-----------------------GK (dunno who) -------------------
Bellerin----------Mustaphi----Sokratis---------AMN
---------------------Doozy-------Xhaka------------
---------------------------Ramsey----------------------
----Mhiki----------------Auba---------------Özil------

****ing nailed it lads.

Nothing Wrong With Me
I thought Emery may play both Laca & Auba but in a game like this I can understand 3 in the middle to protect our back 4. I'm sure we'll see them both start in some games but this week and next, probably not! Great to see such a strong bench for a change, that has to be our strongest bench for quite a few seasons.

PS, City's bench is insane!

Looking at the squads and I really think we do have a solid chance of winning this one. City is without D.Silva and KDB. And they have been the ones to pull the strings in City's games.

We should be controlling the midfield and the ball most of the time which leaves us vulnerable to counter attacks.

I have a positive feeling about Mesut and Mikhi to have an excellent games so to me it all comes down to Xhaka and Ramsey.

3-2 for the Gunners
