Emery's Achilles heel is getting his tactics to work away from home. We are absolutely hopeless on the road. The contrast with the way we play at home is day and night. Think we will do even better at home than last season provided we cut out a few defensive errors. Away from home we get dominated so much it is only a matter of time before we make a catastrophic mistake or two, it is a fundamentally flawed system.
I wouldn't say it's only away from home. Our home match against Burnley we conceded 18 shots. 13 of those came from inside our box. If they had a good striker we would've lost that match as well.

The fact of the matter is, his general defensive play leads to a lot of pressure being on the team. If most of these clubs had somewhat decent strikers we'd be in the bottom half of the table. And if it weren't for Auba and Lacazette putting up pretty ridiculous conversion figures we'd be battling relegation.

how about giving Watford a thumbs up, if our players play with their spirit maybe the result would be different

Watfords 2nd goal was ridiculous, 79th minute, away from home with a 2-1 lead and 2 of our 3 central midfielders are in their box, Torreira has a shot, it's saved and they counter straight through our AWOL midfield. There is no way you would see that from any top team, sure look for a 3rd goal but not at the expense of leaving gaping holes all over the pitch.

It's easy to blame the defence but with the constant pressure they are under it is no wonder they make so many errors. Stick VVD and Laporte in our central defence and they would look awful.

When you take the two players who can actually hold possession off for two youngsters then this is the type of schoolboy error you will see...

Yep, but there´s also an issue with the more experienced players being bypassed again and again. We have seen it in almost every game.
