Almunia [7] Great penalty save, couldn't do anything about their goals.
Sagna 5
Clichy [5] Couldn't do anything about the own goal, it was going to be him or Gabbi
Gallas [5]
Silvestre [5]
Walcott [3] Never rated him and I don't think I ever will
Denilson [6]
Fabregas [3] .
Nasri [4]
Diaby [3]
Bendtner [1] for turning up.
Adebayor [6]
Vela [5]
Touré [6]
Wenger [2] 451 against Villa at home wasn't very clever at all. Took far to long to bring on Ade to replace the useless Bendter.
Almunia 6 good first half but should've stopped there 2nd
Sagna 5 never got a grip of Young, was all over the place to get injured to cost us the first
Clichy 5 poor
Gallas 4 played a direct role in both conceded goals, lost possession too often
Silvestre 5 gave the ball away too much, disappeared for the 2nd half
Walcott 7 only player who did anything for us.
Denilson 4 did **** all
Fabregas 4 **** passing, little work
Nasri 6 still adapting, tried but can't make an impact without other performing
Diaby 5 tried as well but was ineffectual. He's not contributing anything to the attack in this formation
Bendtner 2 utter ****.
Wenger 1 4-5-1 at home against Villa with Bendter up front is pathetic. Left 2 vastly superior strikers on the bench.
Almunia - 5
Didn't seem to assured of anything, but credit for a penalty save
Sagna - 6
Didn't **** up too badly
Gallas - 6
Not drop-him grade awful
Silvestre - 5
Crap
Clichy - 5
Didn't do much, got turned a few times too
Walcott - 6
More threatening than Nasri and beat the left back many a time
Fabregas - 4
Seems to have swapped boots with Hayden Mullins
Denilson - 5
One good pass. The ball boys have more influence on the game.
Nasri - 5
Did nothing
Diaby - 7
Our best player. Despite messing up his passes, kept the ball well. Why Wenger took him off and put Bendtner in his position is beyond me.
Bendtner - 3
Awful. Did nothing but bad. Used to be a big fan. Now he seems awful. Dodgy mullet too
Adebayor - 6
Came on and though he didn't do much, still had more influence than Bendtner
Vela - 5
Didn't do anything but get fouled-but-not and then not getting a shot in
Toure - 5
Did some running
Wenger - 3
Might be a great manager in the way that he can get players, and find a good bit of talent, but Ray Parlour on my Football Manager game could make better tactics.
Uh, no, seriously, Adebayor did not do worse than Bendtner. He was unfit with injury, but still it took him to actually involve the front line in action.
Adebayor was no way the worst player on the pitch. Be fair and change your rating.
Almunia - 6. meh. decent.
Sagna - 4. not even half the player he was last season.
Clichy - 4. same as sagna.
Gallas - 5. decent until agbonlahor got away.
Silvestre - 6. best of back four.
Walcott - 5. some nice moves. overall very little impact. as usual.
Denilson - 4. mediocre at everything he does. not good enough.
Fabregas - 3. very poor.
Nasri - 4. poor.
Diaby - 3. too slow.
Bendtner - 2. horrible.
You´re right Sesquioxide, Adebayor 5, Bendtner had all game and did ****ing nothing - 3. Don´t know why I gave him 4.5. Yeah and I forgot, he looks like a c**t with that new hair.
Almunia - 6.5 - Really good save from the pen spot and was catching everything. First he could do nothing about, but he loses a whole point for being beaten at his hear post.
Sagna - 6.5 - Can't remember him doing anything wrong.
Clichy - 6 - Couple of times lacked concentration or gave the ball away.
Gallas - 7 - I thought he was strong. Not to blame for the second goal in my view.
Silvestre - 7 - As above.
Walcott - 6 - Our only cutting edge in the first half. Shame he still makes small errors. In and out of the game.
Denilson - 6 - Didn't track back several times in the first half, and let Barry have a free shot on goal. His ball retention was good, but then ball retention doesn't win games does it?
Fabregas - 4 - Just poor. Where has his form gone? Did it leave him when his friends left?
Nasri - 6 - I thought he looked useful and lively, but again no cutting edge or end product.
Diaby - 5.5 - Flashes of genius mixed up with some horrible tackling and passing.
Bendtner - 3 - So bad it hurt to watch him.
Adebayor - 6 - We looked better up front when he came on.
Vela - 5 - Showed two bits of class but never got in the game really.
Touré - 6
Wenger - 0 - PLEASE open your eyes and see that this team is not good enough. Not just today, but through a season.
Almunia 5 Saved our sorry butts in the 1st half; too slow on the 2nd goal
Sagna 5.5
Clichy 5.5 Maybe his 3 part web cast on ATVO is still on his mind
Gallas 6.5 Althoug involved in the 2nd goal, thought he did a decent job
Silvestre 6.5 A very good 1st half, and did okay 2nd.
Walcott 6.5 Showed some spark and toughness...
Denilson 5 Only because everyone else will dump on him...He was not the weakest link in the midfield
Fabregas 3 Stop crying about losing Flamini...Play like it means something, and stop being so careless and lazy
Nasri 5 The new kid on the block who has a lot of work cut out for him to play in tough physical games like today
Diaby 3 Nada, and given his size you'd think he could fight off some challenges
Bendtner 3 Another one who should be able to fight off some challengs
Almunia 5
Sagna 5
Clichy 5
Gallas 7 he is the only one who gives a **** about it.
Silvestre 5 To slow, Toure back.
Walcott 4
Denilson 4
Fabregas 4
Nasri 3
Diaby 4
Bendtner 2
Almunia - 5.5 Saved the penalty but maybe could have prevented the 2nd goal. Is he returning to his dodgy best?
Sagna - 4 Below average but there was no cohesion across the back 4.
Clichy - 4 See above, add own goal.
Gallas - 5 See Sagna but cleared the penalty rebound and gets extra marks for that.
Silvestre - 5.5 The best of a poor bunch
Walcott - 5.5 The only player besides Nasri who seemed up for it but poor final ball again and also gave away a penalty.
Denilson - 2 Beautiful ball to Walcott in the first 5 minutes then had a total shocker. I really like him and hope he makes it but some of the things he did and didn't do today was totally inexplicable.
Fabregas - 2 Terrible. His passing has been wayward this season but he was caught in possession a few times and seemed to be totally unaware of what was happening.
Nasri - 5 I thought he was the only one besides Walcott up for it.
Diaby - 2 Invisible aside from a few cameo.
Bendtner - 2 Shocker. Poor first touch and control, did nothing right. Felt like watching the Adebayor who first arrived at Arsenal 3 years ago.
Adebayor - 5 Tried to make a difference but couldn't.
Vela - 4 Anonymous but the whole team was all over the place.
Touré - 5 Did his job.
Overall, I can't believe this was the same team that beat MU. Their commitment and desire was totally gone. Do they think that they've already won everything?
almunia - 5 - saved a weak penalty. failed to come out for balls that were reachable and benefitted from some poor villa finishing. poor positioning to be beat at the near post once again. no one will miss him when he leaves.
sagna - 6 - i think he was playing hurt and who knows how long he'll be out now
clichy - 5 - he needs a proper LM in front of him. tough ball to deal with on the goal.
gallas - 6
silvestre - 4 - i thought he was a disaster in the first half
walcott - 5
denilson - 4
fabregas - 5 - his sloppiness suggests to me that his mind is elsewhere
nasri - 4 - i'm going to come out and say it: for all his other strengths, nasri's linkup play has been poor to dire. there's no understanding with clichy and he doesnt seem to know how to let clichy forward and get him the ball when he's at pace.
diaby - 5
bendtner - 4
adebayor - 6 - was playing hurt
vela - 8 - immediately made us look better; he actually couldve played for us in 2003
touré - 5
Almunia 6 Decent job all around, not at fault for either goal, some very good saves. Yes he mgihjt have saved their second but thers no way you can blame him for not doing so. It wasnt easy.
Sagna 6 Decent. No real howlers, not a lot going forward either tho.
Clichy 4 Own goal, yes he could have done better then heading it into our net...head it anywhere but not there. Apart from that he didnt look too good either.
Gallas 4 Thought he did well but for the 2 goals...well mainly for the second. But how pathetic can you be, loosing out to an attacker 1) from a 50 yard long ball and b) through 50 yards of your own half. Piss poor.
Silvestre 4 Never convincing, some unbelievable poor passing.
Walcott 4 Two nice runs early in the first half then
Denilson 4 Mr. Average indeed. 1 good pass to Walcott early on then
Fabregas 2 Wasted everything...gave away possession pretty much all the time, didnt create a single good chance, had one simple shot that Friedel somehow didnt clear, wasted every corner and free kick he could get and wasnt good defending either. Only thing missing form him was an own goal.
Nasri 3 Was he even there? I cant recall anything good from him.
Diaby 5 Did allright...at least tried to do something wich is more then most of the others could say of themselfs.
Bendtner 3 The only thing that makes him better then Fabs today was that he didnt see that much of the ball then Fabs, so he couldnt give it away that often. Other then that...nothing
Adebayor 5 Apparently had more shots and chances in his 30 minutes then Bendtner in 60. Wasnt exactly good tho either.
Vela 4 Well...where was his magic? I failed to spot it and also him for most of his time on the pitch. 1 good chance begging tho.
Touré x I didnt even realize he was on as I was occupied grasping this shock.
Wenger 0 Im deeply disappointed. Same old problems for eternitys, hes always come out saying "We can win the title, we are strong blabla". Hes fielded a lousy XI, they didnt have any heart nor desire nor ANYTHING. He didnt admit anything and hes driving me crazy.
When I first came to Arsenal, I realised the back four were all university graduates in the art of defending. As for Tony Adams, I consider him to be a doctor of defence. He is simply outstanding.
