lehmann - 4. a real mess at times today.

eboue - 6. great assist, but generally quiet going forward and a bit sloppy defensively at times.

toure - 4. poor. really poor. has to take part of the blame for the conceded goal.

gallas - 7. solid imo.

clichy - 6. ok, but offers very little going forward these days. lacks a bit of confidence perhaps?

hleb - 6. meh, some nice touches, some horrid touches.

cesc - 7. good game and a great goal.

gilberto - 6. meh. looks tired, but he does what is expected of him.

rosicky - 6,5. looked tired, but scored a great goal and should have had an assist if ade actually had a clue of how to put the ball away...

baptista - 4. gets an extra point for the goal, but other than that he was absolutely useless. slow, clumsy and unable to create space for himself.

adebayor - 5. worked hard, made runs, but he don't know how to ****ing finish. a liability to the team when we don't have another goal threat up front...

Lehmann - 4 Looked shakey and a horrid mistake for City's first goal.

Eboue - 5 Thought he started great but slowly tailed off in to a horror show.

Toure - 4 Very suspect. Will need to shape up for Sat.

6.5 - No need to pass back to Lehmann in the build up to City's first goal but other than that was reasonably solid.

Clichy 5.5 - Decent but nothing great.

Rosicky - 7 Great goal and tried to make things happen all game.

Cesc - 8 Great goal and a very good performance. Perking up just in time for Sp**s.

Gilberto - 6 Did his job.

Diaby - 6 Looked good before going off. Won the ball back wonderfully for Rosicky's goal.

Hleb - 6 Lovely assist for Baptista's goal and worked hard.

Adebayor - 4 'Spose he's getting himself in to the positions but if you can't score to save your life there is really very little point.

Baptista - 6 Got an important goal but his overall performance was very meh.

Senderos and Denilson had little time.

Lehmann - 6 - some nervy moments

Clichy - 6 - defended well, but hesitated often when going forward or dribbling

Gallas - 7 - solid

Kolo - 7 - solid

Eboue - 6 - Beasley goal was largely his fault. Even the loose ball was given away by Lehmann, the team shouldn't concede the goal as Gilberto was in front of the back four and offering protection.
Kolo was right to close down Johnson but Eboue was again lost both the ball and Beasley he suppose to mark. I don't know how could Eboue leave such a big gap between himself and Kolo. It's important to maintain the distances between and the right angle behind defenders when playing flat back four. Worse, that was followed by serial defensive slackness due to the lack of communication between Eboue and Hleb. The FK right before HT, that was very horrible to see the passer was closed down by no one! Luckily that cross didn't find City player, otherwise the team could have gone 1-2 down.

Hleb - 7 - defensively he was awful, but he did well when the team were going forward.

Cesc - 8 - he should do more that kind of dropping shots with his outside foot. Top notch technique execution really. If our AMs can do more that kinds of dropping long shots, Collectveily they will get 5 more goals each in the season. Even Ade and other 'lesser' strikers might score more by tapping the ball in after shots are bounced off the keepers.

Rosicky - 9 - What can I say. What a class. At one stage during the game, I was worrying he might get injured.

Gilbert - 6 - Did little but steady nonetheless.

Diaby - 7 - Played well with his immedaite pressure when teammates' ball was dispossessed. His tackle and excellent timing of relseasing the ball
gave Eboue more time and space to measure his crossing. Unlucky with his injury.

Ade - 6 - Worked hard by disrupting Citeh's build up from the back four. Attackingwise, Ade offered little.

Sub:

Bap - 7 - His first touches were better in this game.

Denilson - 6 - late sub. Maybe Arsène should get him up 5 minutes earlier.

Senderos - 6 - a mystifying substitution.

BTW, The two TV commentators were spitting utter b*ll*x throughout the game. I would really hit their head with mics.

What with everyone giving Eboue 6's? He was aboslutely awful. His concentration was shocking. Was at fualt for the goal, let beasly slip inside him numerus times. There was one time where he let a ball drift over his head as beasly ran past him and he actually just stood still for about 5 seconds. Ridiculously lazy.

You may say the rating 6 as a carrot for Eboue assist. I do hope the team's defense coach would give him some sticks afterward.

The team also went lucky as Samaras didn't slot the ball inside the box. Eboue was right beside Samaras but he didn't bother managing to block the shot.

typical eboue hater...eboue was immense going forward today and made some great tackles, he was at fault to some degree for beasleys goal but then AGAIN even I would have let beasley go, who knew that johnson was going to get that pass off! Toure let him go and it seemed Johnson was going to fall but he got the pass off at the last second and beasley was at the right place at the right time. his cross was an absolute beauty for rosicky to smash in. wasnt the best out there today but surely wasnt aweful.

whats a fullbck priority attacking or defending who cares what he does attacking wise if he is sh*t at defending, Eboue was really poor tonight . I agree with everything j'nuh has said. I cant believe people here are raving about him. he is just lazy and played poorly against a poor man city side.

Gilberto was absolutely mince out there today I thought, positionally ok but his passing and work rate were abject. Strolled through the game and didn't influence it at all.

He wasnt immense going forward. He put in one good cross. His laziness/poor reading of the game gave City possesion or meant that he let Beasley get in behind him about 5 or 6 times. Not good enough. Not sure what a 'typical eboue hater' is but if thats someone who doesnt like it when players dont put in as much effort as they should do in then mark me down as one mate.

just saw the replay..from what i saw, was a good attacking option..however was shaky at defense at some moments but made some good tackles...toure had a more troublesome time at at the back....was not lazy and god awful as some proclaim

Lehmann - 5.5-wtf happened to him today??

Eboue - 5 -switched on and off for me

Toure - 5-looked really tired

Gallas-7 - the best defender on the field, how many times was he acting as a striker? lol

Clichy 6.5- did well

Rosicky - 8-once again showed how dangerous he can be when he is inside the box, excellent performance.

Cesc - 8-suddenly he doesnt need as much rest as it seemed, cool, nice goal.

Gilberto - 6.5-nice blocks and tackles

Diaby - 6.5- started of well, pity he wasnt able to continue

Hleb - 6.5- did well for the third goal, was good defensively too.

Adebayor - 6- once again his first touch failed him, he had got so many chances.

Baptista - 6 -done well for the goal and its a disgrace if the fans were really booing him.

Jens 5 - One of his crazy nights.

Eboue 5 - Lazy and careless defending at times.

Toure 5 - Cost us a goal and almost another one in the second half.

Gallas 7 - Better from him, our best defender on the night. Still passes back to Jens too much though, he should remember he's not at Chelsea.

Clichy 6 - Defensively solid, loses the ball every time he goes forward.

Hleb 7 - Good game from him.

Cesc 8 - Controlled the game and scored a cracker. More of the same please.

Gilberto 6 - Didn't notice him. Superfluous in these games.

Rosicky 8 - In and out of the game but almost everything he did was dangerous.

Diaby 7 - Playing well before some fat **** stepped on him.

Ade 6 - Poor touch and poor finishing, some positive moments in the second half though. Need to learn the basics of finishing, e.g. shooting up when defender s are in the goal.

Baptista 6 - Good second half from him, but he will be off.

Fans 0 - Clueless mongs who scream 'ole' when we are 3rd in the table.

Commentators 0 - Wanted to stab them in the eye with a pen. Over and over again.

There is no chance of Sol ever leaving for Arsenal. He is a Spurs fan and there is not a hope in hell of him playing in an Arsenal shirt.
