Watching Carragher analyse Everton in the game vs us and I'm screaming "overlapping fullbacks" at the TV.

This has been a major weak point for us, but even when White does it (he did it a fair bit vs Brentford) he doesn't really have the quality to take advantage of it. This is the drawbacks of essentially having a midfielder at LB and a CB at RB. Even our alternatives Tierney who will overlap but is poor with his crossing or Tomiyasu who doesn't excel in that regard. I just wish we at least had one full-back who could provide some quality.

I think they just need to overlap to stop the double marking saka or Martinelli even tho they don't add much offensively.

The problem is not fully fit team thier problem the midfield is aging and off form defense
