Thought it was Diomansy Kamara at first but yeah it's Dacourt.
He had a pretty weird career. Did really well at Everton but left after only a season. Went back to France for the 1999-2000 season but then signed for Leeds the season after.

Watched the Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana draws tonight. Some tasty Brazil-Argentina matchups in the Libertadores round of 16. Defending champion River Plate, a 4-time winner of Libertadores, takes on Brazilian power Gremio, a 2-time winner. Last year's runner-up and and 6-time champ Boca Juniors takes on last year's Copa Sudamericana (think of it as South America's Europa League) winner Athletico Paranaense. The two-leg playoffs will be held in late July.

Sadly, this is true. It's from a 2012 interview. A couple of years later he claimed it was a "misunderstanding," but I think his words are pretty clear. Hopefully he's evolved since then.
